In the Media Village everything is either Katrina or Watergate

Michael Shear of the liberal New York Times is at again, peddling false equivalence, comparing the troubles with healthcare.gov to Bush’s Katrina response.  I thought the BP oil spill was Obama’s Katrina or was it Watergate, I forget.  Here is the actual headline,

Health Law Rollout’s Stumbles Draw Parallels to Bush’s Hurricane Response

Not a word about the actions of GOP held Congress gutting the health care law or those of GOP governors who refused to set up their own exchanges.  Were the Democrats actively sabotaging FEMA, when Katrina hit New Orleans? Tell me again, how many people died because people got the blue screen of death while enrolling? Or which major American city is under water?

I expect better from you, NYT, please don’t become another Fox-Lite CNN.

  1. I think you left out the “or ignored because it’s good news for Democrats” from their list of choices.
